Four-day Leadership Development Programmes (Free of Charge)

Dear Master Students,

You are invited to participate in Four-day Leadership Development Programmes (Free of Charge). Here’s the description :

Date      : Tuesday – Friday, 1st-4th March 2016

Time      : 8.30 AM – 5.30 PM

Venue   :

• 1st & 2nd day will be held in BINUS University, Kemanggisan Campus (Aula)
• 3rd & 4th day will be held in British Petroleum Jakarta Office 

*This event is FREE!

*Lunch will be provided

*Participants must be able to attend all sessions in 4 consecutive days

Global Leader Experiences (GLEs) are four-day leadership development programmes held in the Magnet Cities of the world (a Magnet City is one where students from over 100 nationalities congregate for their higher education). Since 2012 programmes have taken place in cities such as Johannesburg, Oxford, Dubai, London, Singapore, Boston, and Kuala Lumpur.

This GLEs 2016 event in Jakarta is organized by Common Purpose – a UK-based non profit social enterprise, in collaboration with British Petroleum and BINUS University. Founded in 1989 as a not-for-profit social enterprise, Common Purpose now runs local courses for leaders in cities across the world, and global programmes for leaders from over 100 countries across six continents. Each year, 4,000 leaders become Common Purpose alumni.

As part of the programme, an annual Challenge is set that businesses, governments and society face today and which both senior leaders and students tackle. The students hand on their accumulated thoughts and ideas from city to city throughout the year, culminating in the presentation of their findings to the senior leaders at the start of their programme. In order take part in this program, students need to:

This event will be attended by high officials of Common Purpose UK, British Petroleum, and BINUS University. Upon the completion of the 4 days event, students will entitle to get an official certificate from Common Purpose. Please refer to the attached flyer for your reference.
